1986
In 1986, Sapia AB starts up a new company focused on consultancy
services. This results in the establishment of Sapia Teknik
AB in 1994, which changes its name to Sigma Teknik AB in
1994, to Sigma AB in 1996 and to Teleca AB in 2001.
1993
Dan Olofsson acquires Sapia Teknik AB.
1994
Sapia Teknik AB changes its name to Sigma Teknik AB
1996
Sigma Teknik AB changes its name to Sigma AB.
The Exallon
Group is acquired.
1997
On 21st February 1997, the Sigma Series B share is listed
on the O-List of the Stockholm Stock Exchange
1998
Benima Ferator is acquired.
2000
Teleca Ltd. in the UK and Intelia SA in France are acquired
2001
Sigma AB changes its name to Teleca AB, while two new companies,
Sigma and Epsilon, are distributed among shareholders and
listed on the Stockholm Exchange.
At the time of the division
of the company, the Group had grown to approximately 3,500
employees.
This growth had taken place organically, through
acquisitions and investment deals- the same growth strategy
that Teleca uses today.
After the division, Teleca has approximately
1,200 employees.
2002
Teleca and AU-System merge, creating one of Europe's leading
consulting companies focused on technology and R&D.
After
the merger, the Group has approximately 2,200 employees.
Teleca
signs an outsourcing agreement with Ericsson for research
and development operations in France.
A separate subsidiary,
Teleca Mobile Technologies AB, is established to run the
Obigo operation.
Teleca signs an outsourcing agreement with
Ericsson for GPRS R&D operations in Norway.
Pronyx is
acquired and integrated with Teleca's subsidiary Benima.
